Thanks for the interview @Malick Abdullah and the opportunity to reflect. Stress is still something that we don’t fully appreciate or understand. If not managed or understood correctly it can have horrific consequences but there’s also no value in trying to mitigate it complety…as you’ve shown it is a complex and nuanced topic
Thank you Benjamin for being willing to contribute. I think it's important to highlight the complexity of stress while making it relatable to our day-to-day which is what I hope the series achieved to some degree.
Thank you for putting together this honest and deliberate interview Malick & Benjamin. The truths you emphasized about stress is something valuable and should be put out there.
Another great read Malick, it's a really good series, I particularly like the way that you have crafted the questions to the collaborators and you didn't just ask us all the same things.
It would have been an interesting comparison to see how each person answered the same question but I think it worked out for the better this way.
When I read: "By having non-negotiables to simplify decision-making, ground you, and see light through the storm is also a recurring theme in managing stress." This is absolutely a key point, and knowing what your non negotiables are so that you can be guided by them is an exercise that everyone should explore.
Thank you Mark, I'm glad you liked it. The questions were an essential part of highlighting the range of experiences to bring various perspectives to the forth.
As you said, it would have been an interesting comparison if the same questions were asked but I think that would have anchored the reader to compare each experience which contradicts the point of stress being a unique experience.
Non-negotiables reduce that decision fatigue, and likewise I believe just laying out your priorities to give some direction can make a huge difference.

Thank you Astrid! Most definitely - by having a conversation over experiences, the series highlighted many key lessons to reflect on.
